This particular Acer has light green leaves in the summer, sometimes with a red tinge, before turning gold and red in the autumn. Can get to 4m in height over time.

‘Hogyoku’ is mostly known for it’s pumpkin orange fall colour. In warmer climates it sometimes has yellow leaves in the fall that have orange and red washed across them.
‘Hiryu’ is a beautiful upright Japanese acer with narrow, slightly twisted palmate leaves – hence its name. It has autumn colours of red, yellow and orange and would happily live in a pot. Works especially well with low growing broad leaved evergreens, the feathered leaves contrast and gently shake in the wind.
