Acer palmatum ‘Hiryu’

Acer palmatum ‘Hiryu’ at Architectural Plants is a beautiful upright Japanese acer with narrow, slightly twisted palmate leaves – hence its name. It has autumn colours of red, yellow and orange and would happily live in a pot. Works especially well with low growing broad leaved evergreens, the feathered leaves contrast and gently shake in the wind.
