Butterfly is quite an upright shrub or small tree with irregularly margined creamy-white leaves often tinged pink. Occassionally has small red flowers in psring. Ultimate height 2.5-4m.
Best grown with their feet in the shade and head in the sun in well drained, moist, neutral to acid soil. Protect from cold and drying winds. Prune lightly for health but never when the sap is rising in the spring. Produced by cuttings/grafted.
