IMPORTANT NOTE:
Photos represent the plants at their different stages. Your plant may arrive with new/loose roots, having been recently pruned or cut to enhance it's growth.
Before leaves develop, delicate darker edged, pale pink to white, single flowers cover the tree in early spring. The ovate leaves that follow will turn reds and oranges in autumn,. It can grow to 8m in height with a narrow columnar shape, maturing over 20 years to more of a vase shape.
Hardy and deciduous, it is happy on any fertile, moist but well drained soil in sun to partial shade.
