Hydrangea quercifolia
£97.50
A lovely shrub with deeply lobed, large dark green leaves. The huge conical flowerheads are creamy-white in high summer and the foliage develops brilliant crimson and scarlet autumnal colours. It's worth being patient as it can be slow to establish but it can reach 1.5m x 1.5m over 10 years.
Originally from south-eatern USA, this is a hardy plant that is happy in sun to partial shade in any moist but well-drained soil. It flowers on the previous years growth so prune after flowering. Produced by cuttings.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Photos represent the plants at their different stages. Your plant may arrive with new/loose roots, having been recently pruned or cut to enhance it's growth.
