One of a group of hybrid seelings between T. baccata and T. cuspidata raised in the USA around 1900. This form has a finer foliage than English Yew, but grows densley so its perfect for hedging and topiary. it has a narrow upright habit but it rarely produces berries. 

Happy on any soil as long as it is well drained. Taxus x media 'Hillii' thrives in both sunny and shady positions.
