The Pinus mugo ‘Skolka’ at Architectural Plants is a selected form of Pinus mugo, but there seems to be little or no literature that we can find about this particular pine.
Like all Pinus mugo, Pinus mugo ‘Skolka’ is an evergreen, hardy mountain pine. They are dwarf in stature, thrive in sunny open positions and are completely untroubled by strong winds. Indeed these tough little trees thrive on poor, and sharply draining soils.
