Picea sitchensis ‘Papoose’ (Sitka Spruce 'Papoose')
Dense and compact, this is a beautiful dwarf conifer discovered originally on Vancouver Island.
The blue-green new foliage darkens to a deep green. Slightly globular as a young tree it slowly, slowly becomes more pyramidal up to 250cm x 100cms.
Best grown in a sheltered spot in full sun on a moist free draining clay, sandy or loamy soil.
