£5,995.00 incl. VAT
This is a big deciduous tree at 30m-40m with a life span of over 100 years. The large and pinnate leaves often only emerge once temperatures of 20 degrees are reached. They produce walnuts after 20 or so years and can live for 130 years.
Choose a sunny spot in deep, fertile, moist but well drained soil. Grown for walnuts, timber, dyes, while the sap is used for syrup and finely ground shells are used for sandblasting and facial scrubs. Produced by cuttings, grafted or seeds.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Photos represent the plants at their different stages. Your plant may arrive with new/loose roots, having been recently pruned or cut to enhance it's growth.
