LOCATION: Oxford. Where Plants Meet Porsche
This August, Architectural Plants had the pleasure of exhibiting at Megaphonics, hosted by Boxengasse, in Oxford. Our role was to bring living architecture into an already extraordinary setting, using carefully selected tropical plants to frame one of the most impressive collections of Porsches you’ll ever see.
The Breif:
- One lorry-load of plants, delivery, collection and expert plant placement by a three man team, in return for prominent on-site plant placement with displayed AP paddles, official event sponsor status, logo inclusion amongst other sponsors and brand presence across event brochures and merchandise.
Bringing Megaphonics to Life
As the weekend unfolded, it became clear that Megaphonics is about far more than exceptional cars. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and brilliantly curated. Enthusiasts, collectors, families and friends wandered through the displays, sharing stories, admiring craftsmanship and appreciating the incredible level of detail that had gone into every element of the event. There was no pretence, just genuine enthusiasm from people brought together by a shared passion for quality and design.

Sculptural cloud-pruned topiary, architectural palms and bold tropical foliage softened the hard lines of the exhibition space, adding texture, movement and atmosphere. Our team handled the complete process, from selecting the plants at our West Sussex nursery to delivery, positioning and collection after the event. Great planting should never overpower what surrounds it. Instead, it should elevate it. The cars remained the stars of the show, while the plants quietly enhanced every angle, every photograph and every conversation.
