LOCATION: P ZERO™ Experience UK, held at Silverstone Circuit
Our role was to bring smooth, simple shapes, chosen to complement the sleek lines of the cars, creating a sophisticated yet understated setting. Pirelli describes P ZERO Experience as a 360-degree brand experience for supercar owners, combining the opportunity to drive their own cars on circuit with hot laps, manufacturer test drives and hospitality. The Silverstone event was run as an open-pit-lane day. The partnership also included AP-branded paddle displays throughout the event, logo placement alongside other sponsors and brand exposure across event speeches and signage.
The Breif:
A one-day event on 17th June 2026. Plant hire with one lorry-load of plants, delivery, collection and expert plant placement by Guy and Doug. The aim was to create a Mediterranean atmosphere to link to the brands origins through carefully selected architectural planting, incorporating Cupressus, Palms and Niwaki.
What Plants Bring to an Event Space
A well-chosen pallet of plants can do a surprising amount of work within an event space. In this case, a Mediterranean-inspired planting scheme to complement Pirelli’s event space without competing with the cars.
- Create an immediate sense of arrival
- Define entrances and key destinations
- Frame products, vehicles and displays
- Soften temporary structures and hard architecture
- Break up large or exposed spaces
- Introduce height, texture and movement
- Provide natural backdrops for photography and video
- Help different areas of an event feel connected
- Turn functional spaces into places people want to spend time in
With thousands of plants growing at our nursery in West Sussex, we’re able to build collections around the character and scale of an event rather than relying on a standard event-hire catalogue. The tall, narrow forms of Cupressus introduced height and a distinctly Mediterranean character, while sculptural Trachycarpus fortunei brought lower, softer forms into the scheme.
From Our Nursery to Silverstone
Events like P ZERO Experience are a good example of why plant hie for events doesn’t necessarily need to involve huge quantities of plants. Sometimes a few carefully chosen specimens are enough. The important bit is choosing plants that belong in the environment.
From our nursery in West Sussex, we can select plants individually for your event. That might mean an entire lorry-load for a large exhibition or simply a handful of statement specimens for a one-day event.

McLaren Sennas, Porsche 911 GT3 RSs, Ferraris and Aston Martins where on display, alongside manufacturer experiences involving McLaren, Maserati, BMW and Dallara, among others. Alongside the track action and an extraordinary collection of performance cars, Pirelli created a complete hospitality environment around the day.
That’s where we came in.
Together they created a series of simple green silhouettes around the event space. The idea was to complement the clean lines of the cars and Pirelli’s surroundings rather than distract from them. And against Silverstone’s hard surfaces, garages and track infrastructure, a little green goes quite a long way. Strong silhouettes. Simple forms.
