Found in Grayswood Hill, Haslemere, Surrey. This is a Himalayan Birch with a strikingly white trunk, that can reach 8m x 4m over 20 years. The glossy dark green leaves are quite large, turning a good yellow in autumn.
Hardy and easy, this deciduous tree is happy in full sun to partial shade, on any moist but well drained soil in any aspect and on a sheltered or exposed site. Produced by graftings/cuttings.
