A narrow and upright tree with flat sprays of dense, dark-green scaly foliage which has a pleasant fragrance. It can grow to 6m x 1.5m over 10 years as a stand alone specimen, or it can be grown for screening or as a hedge. The flowers are inconspicuous and are followed by small brown cones.
Plant in full sun to light shade in any well drained soil in either an exposed or a sheltered position. The foliage is naturally pretty dense but can be lightly pruned if needed. Produced by cuttings.
