A lovely form of hawthorn with dark green leathery leaves that remain nearly till the end of the year. In the spring, there are massed clusters of white flowers followed in the late summer with 2cm orange-red haws. Not too many throrns.
A tree with deep spreading roots that's happy to tolerate pollution, exposed or even coastal sites. Propagated by cuttings or grafted.
