Hardiness level Green
Fluffy, lumpy and lovely. ‘Globosa Nana’ is a slow growing evergreen conifer that could be considered miniature as it takes many years to reach even six foot tall and about the same wide. They’re grafted in Italy and grown-on by us
We’re keen on poodling our plants here at AP, but this one poodles itself. “Globosa’ by nature, these charming trees form tight bulbous bundles of soft branches each tightly packed with emerald green leaves. Structure of the softest, bobbliest kind and essential in any serious collection of smart evergreens. You can trim it a bit if you feel it’s necessary, and it wont mind much. Bit tricksy: it definitely will mind longish periods of little or too much water. Boggy soils will not be tolerated (dead) and we find our nursery specimens on their neat automatic watering system never display any signs of stress or sadness. This says much about their need for consistency. Definitely worth the effort though, given how much charm and character these bobbles bring. Bon chance! (buona fortuna)
