A beautiful shrub or small tree that could reach 1.5m over 20 years. The deeply cut 7 lobed leaves start pinky red in the Spring, turn burgandy over the summer taking on scarlet hues in the Autumn.

Best grown with their feet in the shade and head in the sun in well drained moist to neutral to acid soil. Protect from cold and drying winds. Prune lightly for health but never when the sap is rising in the spring. Produced by cuttings/grafted.
