This is a pretty tree, perfect for small gardens, growing to 1.5m. Delicate new crimson edged foliage softens to green as the Summer progresses before turning flaming yellow and orange in the Autumn.

Like all acers, best grown in light or dappled shade. Protect from blazing sunshine and cold drying winds. Dont let it dry out and best in well drained, moisture retaining soil. Unlikely to flourish in hevay wet conditions.
