Small and pretty, grows to about 3m, this hardy deciduous acer has beautiful 5/7 lobed leaves. The bright new green-veined Spring foliage changed to a purple edged darker green in summer finally turning pinky purple in the autumn.
Best grown with their feet in the shade and head in the sun in well drained, moist neutral to acid soil. Protect from cold and dry winds. Prine lightly for health but never when the sap is rising in Spring. Produced by cuttings/grafted.
