The Terraneo Ancona Terracotta pot is a classic straight-sided vessel but with bags of subtle traditional character. The Ancona is sleek and crisp with a lovely bevelled base: this is a pleasing indicator of an expertly hand-thrown vessel that exhibits its attributes quietly. There’s generosity in the hand-rolled rim and an honest thickness to the clay. Two foot across, so it holds a really decent amount of root ball: think biggish specimen shrub or smallish specimen tree.

Made with the highest quality Pelopenessian clay for a lighter finish and great strength, this material has been relied upon for centuries to withstand bitter Greek winters.
