A beautiful hardy pine that could get get to 5m over 20 years for open or exposed sites. the golden colouration is particularly intense in the winter.
Best position in any aspect on a free draining acid to neutral soil.
As with all woody plants, plant high, exposing as much of the taper at the base of the trunk as possible. Allowing soil to accumulate round the base of a tree can be fatal. Keep very well watered when first planted.
