These are unique, handmade pieces created using a combination of wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. The clay is naturally rich in iron, which produces the distinctive flecking visible after firing and adds depth and character to the glazes applied to it.
Available in four glazes :
- The green glaze is a translucent, sandy green inspired by the colours of the coastline.
- The charcoal glaze is an opaque, matte charcoal with subtle green undertones.
- The white glaze is glossy and opaque, with delicate opalescent qualities - revealing hints of purple and pink when viewed up close.
- The ecru glaze has a soft satin finish and was developed to celebrate the natural tone of the birch tree.
** For an extra £10 you can include a round kenzan flower frog (RRP £18.00).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Photos represent the plants at their different stages. Your plant may arrive with new/loose roots, having been recently pruned or cut to enhance it's growth.
