Grey-green and yellow variegated, soft-arching, yucca-like leaves that can develop red hooded flower spikes in early summer. Clump forming, the leaves can reach 1m and the flower spikes to 1.5m over 3 to 4 years.
For a mild garden in full sun, sheltered from cold northerly and easterly winds. They need really sharp drainage but apart from chalk are happy on any soil. They grow well in large pots and are est planted out when larger. Produced by seed.
