Fagus orientalis ‘Iskander’ (Oriental Beech 'Iskander')
Very tall and slender, this elegantly fastigiate beech can reach 20m in height but only 6m across.
Hardiness level Green
The foliage remains a glossy green throughout the season before turning a golden yellow in the autumn. Young trees can retain their dead leave until they are pushed off by the emerging spring foliage the following year.
A tree that thrives in warm and dry areas, it does best on any well drained soil, any aspect in full sun.
