Acer palmatum ‘Asahi- Zuru’ (Rising Sun Japanese Maple)
Acer palmatum ‘Asahi- Zuru’ at Architectural Plants has semi-dwarf beautifully variegated maple stems, on the new growth they are red and the foliage comes through in a combination of white and pink then into a deep green. They sometimes have an entirely white or pink leaf. Autumn foliage is a stunning blend of oranges and reds. Position: Sun or light shade on lime free soil (reasonably well drained). Avoid strong winds. ‘By cuttings’
