Stipa gigantea (Golden Oat)
It’s big (4.5ft) but with it’s even bigger oat like flower heads (7ft) it has something of an airy Pampas Grass about it. Please contact us for stock availability and sizes.

An evergreen tuft forming perennial grass. Fine leaves 45cm long, with elegant silvery panicles of flowers in late summer turning golden and persisting long into the winter. The flower spikes reach upto 1.8m tall.
Stipa enjoy an open sunny site, with moist well drained soil. Withstands wind well.
