Ordering and Delivery

We take this subject seriously. Badly organised deliveries can spoil our reputation and ruin your day. We’ll discuss with you, in the minutest detail, how to get your plants from us to you, in safety, using one of our of liveried vehicles, a variety of ingenious mechanical contraptions and intelligent, thoughtful drivers who understand their role in the business. Loading Up

You’ll be amazed at what we can get in your car. We wrap up the plants and lay them flat but we can only do that really well if there are no passengers in the back and you’ve got a hatch back or estate car. We always say that the number of plants we can get in a car has more to do with the determination of the occupants than the size of the car!

D.I.Y. Delivery

Not such a silly idea. We boast about the enormous number of plants we can pack in the back of an average hatchback, but when did you last hire a van? Not only do you avoid our delivery charge, you get your plants immediately, you enjoy a better view than from a car and (providing it’s white) all other road users flee from your path in terror. D.I.Y. Delivery

The plants are beautifully packed in our specially made boxes and kept upright throughout their journey. The service is guaranteed next day delivery and on the very rare occasions a plant is damaged - we replace it immediately and City Link’s Insurers pay! If you order your plants between Monday and Wednesday, you’ll receive them the following day. We recognise the faith you’re putting in us (buying plants unseen) and therefore try hard to choose the best plants we have in stock, to send you.

Proud as we are of this service, we regret that it’s more prescriptive than it used to be - plants can only be sent by City Link if they are less than 4ft. tall, including the pot. You’ll need to speak to us about sizes. Please note that orders for dispatch by City Link are taken at and sent from our Chichester nursery.

The minimum cost for this delivery service is £30 per box - typically about 6 plants in 3 litre containers - and £50 for two boxes. These prices only apply to mainland Britain; please ask us to quote for other places.
