Friday 2nd December- Make a Garden Apron with Denys & Fielding. 

Using a select edit of beautiful fabrics from the Denys & Fielding archive, you'll learn to cut, construct and sew your own garden apron. Led by Liz, co-founder of Denys and Fielding, you'll spend a morning stitching a practical apron which you can give as a gift or keep as a treat to yourself! Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one of Liz's.

Friday 9th December- Make a Terrarium with London Terrarium. 

Whether used as a centrepiece for your home or given as a gift to someone special; terrariums are a wonderful way of bringing nature indoors. Led by Emma, co-founder of London Terrariums you'll be taught the principles and skills needed to create a self-contained eco system under glass. A perfect course for those wanting to make personalised Christmas gifts or simply to try something new.

FEBRUARY 2017 

Friday 10th February 2017 - Design your own Lampshade with Cressida Bell 

Spend the day with leading textile and interior designer, Cressida Bell creating your own original lampshade inspired by Cressida's prints and the art of Bloomsbury. Cressida's style is undoubtedly influenced from her well known Bloomsbury Group forebears (Quentin Bell was her father and Vanessa Bell her grandmother); but it is not an all pervading one, and she has forged her own very individual style over the last 25 years. 

You'll be provided with a 14" diameter lampshade, for use on a table or hanging lamp. Specialist translucent dyes will be provided, along with opaque emulsion and specialist gold powder paint.

Friday 14th March - Pests and Diseases: Identification and Control with Karen Quinn. 

Architectural Plants' resident P&D expert, Karen is sharing her expansive knowledge and skills in this one-day course. Karen will talk you through the identification, treatment and control of a variety of pests and diseases to help you keep your garden pest and disease-free. This will be a practical course, based outdoors so please wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.

Thursday 13th April - Creative Maintenance with Guy Watts and Marc Rice. 

Led by Architectural Plants' pros, Guy and Marc, we'll be sharing some horticultural tricks of the trade for you to employ in your own garden. You'll learn how to strip a Trachycarpus, clip a cupressus, raise bamboo and other general husbandry through a blend of theoretical and practical teaching. You'll be getting your hands dirty and you'll be working outdoors so come prepared with suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.
